Viewing Your Clients in ContractorXchange

To view your connected clients, first ensure the My Clients section is visible on your Home dashboard. This section displays the companies you’re connected to, along with their status and relevant data.

If you don’t see My Clients, check the Account Status box at the top of your dashboard. Make sure the toggle labelled "I want to provide data for clients" is set to Yes. You can also update this setting under Account Settings (found in the top-right corner via the drop-down arrow icon).

Clients Widget

All connected companies (your “clients”) will appear in the Clients widget under the My Clients heading.

Each client name includes the date the connection was established.

If a client has set an approval status or notes for your account, those details will also be displayed here.

Removing a Client Connection

To remove a client:

  1. Click the client’s name in the Clients widget.

  2. The Data Access window will open.

  3. Set all data access toggles to No.

  4. Follow the prompts to confirm and remove the connection.

Once removed, the client will no longer appear in your My Clients list, and any requirements (e.g., questions or document submissions) associated with them will be removed.

Connect with Clients

There is no limit and no additional cost to the number of clients you can connect with as a ContractorXchange subscriber!

Here is the article on how to connect with a Client.

Using the Message Centre

Looking to grow your network? Use the Message Centre (envelope icon at the top of your Home dashboard) to reach out to current or potential clients.

Introduce yourself, highlight your services, and let them know you’ve sent a connection request. It’s a great way to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
