How do I connect with a Client?

Learn how to connect with clients in ContractorXchange and set data-sharing permissions.

Enable My Clients section on the Home page

If you do not see your data in the My Clients section on your Home page, read this article: Enable My Clients Section.

Access the Connect Section

  1. Click Connect in the left-hand menu or, from your Home dashboard, click Connect with New Clients in the Clients widget.

    This will direct you to the Connect with Companies page:

  2. Click on Clients as the Company Type option.

  3. In the Select dropdown, begin typing your client’s name or search through the list.

  4. Click on their name from the list once it appears.

  5. Click the Connect with Client green button.

  6. Set Data Access Permissions

    Ensure the following items are toggled to Yes to allow your client to view your information:

    1. Questionnaire

    2. Documents

    3. Evaluation

  7. Save Your Settings

  8. Click Save to confirm and finalize the connection, which enables your data to be visible to your client.

Connecting with Multiple Clients

You can connect with multiple clients at no extra cost.

Once connected:

Your client’s name will appear in the Clients widget on the Home page.

You’ll unlock access to client-specific questions and document requests.

Monitor the completeness of your Documents and Questionnaire as your client may have additional requirements.
