Written by Ronnie Tallman

The Contractors page provides a centralized view of all contractors connected to your organization. From here, you can monitor contractor evaluations, assessments, approval statuses, and completion progress.

This page allows you to quickly identify contractors requiring attention and access their information.

1. Contractors Overview

At the top of the page, four summary tiles provide a snapshot of your contractor network.

Summary Tile

Description

Total Contractors

Total number of contractors connected to your organization.

Active

Number of contractors with active ContractorXchange accounts.

Gold Evaluations

Number of contractors who have achieved a Gold Evaluation.

Advanced Assessments

Number of contractors with an Advanced Assessment classification.

2. Search and Filter Contractors

Use the search bar and filters to quickly locate contractors or narrow your list.

  • Search Contractors: Find a contractor by company name.

  • All: Display your complete contractor list.

  • Approvals: Filter contractors by their approval status.

  • Assessments: Filter by ContractorXchange assessment classification, such as Not Set, Advanced or Standard.

  • Evaluations: Filter by evaluation results, such as Insufficient, Gold or Silver.

  • Templates: Filter contractors by their assigned templates.

  • Profiles: Filter by assigned profiles, where available.

  • Needs Attention: Identify contractors with items requiring follow-up.

These filters help you focus on specific groups of contractors without reviewing each account individually.

3. Understanding the Contractor List

Each contractor is displayed in a summary card containing key information about their account:

Contractor Name

Click the contractor's name to access their account details and review their information.

Profiles

Displays the number of profiles assigned to the contractor and their approval status for each.

Assessment

Displays the contractor's current assessment classification, such as Advanced or Standard.

Evaluation

Displays the contractor's ContractorXchange evaluation result, including its classification (Gold or Silver) and score.

Tasks

Displays whether the contractor has any open tasks requiring action.

4. Questionnaire and Document Completion

On the right side of each contractor card, you'll find progress indicators for Questions and Documents.

Each includes two completion measures:

  • Required: Progress toward completing the questions or documents specifically required for approval.

  • Overall: Progress toward completing all applicable questions or documents.

These indicators help you quickly identify contractors with outstanding requirements.

Important: A contractor may have completed all required items for approval while still having other outstanding questions or documents.

5. Understanding Contractor Approval Status

ContractorXchange distinguishes between three important measures:

Evaluation: The contractor's health and safety evaluation result, based on the ContractorXchange evaluation criteria.

Assessment: The contractor's CX assessment classification, such as Advanced or Standard.

Approval: Your organization's decision on whether the contractor is approved to perform work under an assigned profile.

These measures serve different purposes. A contractor with a Gold Evaluation is not automatically approved by your organization.

Always review the contractor's profile approval status before confirming their eligibility for work.

6. Using the Contractors Page for Daily Management

We recommend using this page regularly to:

  • Review contractor approval statuses to confirm eligibility for work.

  • Identify outstanding requirements by checking questionnaire and document completion.

  • Monitor evaluations and assessments to identify changes in contractor status.

  • Follow up on outstanding tasks to help contractors complete their requirements.

  • Review assigned profiles to ensure contractors meet the requirements for their intended work.

For more detailed information, click a contractor's name to access their account and review their submitted information.
