How to answer questions that don't apply to my company.

Not all questions apply to your business? Learn how to answer with N/A, complete required fields, and know when to contact your client.

While we advise that Subscribers complete all questions to the best of their ability, we recognize that some may not be applicable to your organization. Here’s how to handle those you are unsure of:

Focus on Required Questions

  • Complete all ContractorXchange “Required” questions.
    These impact your overall Assessment and Approval status.

  • Complete all your client’s “Required for Approval” questions.
    These affect your status with that specific client.

Acceptable Answers

  • Answer “No” if it applies. Use the text box to briefly explain if needed.

  • If a question does not apply to your company/operations, enter “Not Applicable” or “N/A” in the text box.

  • For tables, click “Add”, fill in the data or type “NA”, and then save.

Don’t Forget to Save

  • After answering questions, click "Save and Proceed" at the bottom of the page.
