Understanding Your Templates Page

Written by Ronnie Tallman

The Templates page allows hiring clients to manage their contractor prequalification requirements based on specific sites, projects, or categories of work.

Templates help organize contractor requirements and ensure contractors are assessed against the appropriate criteria.

1. Templates Overview

At the top of the page, three summary tiles provide an overview of your organization's templates.

Summary Tile

Description

Templates

Total number of templates created by your organization.

Profiles

Total number of profiles associated with your templates.

Contractors

Number of contractors assigned to your templates.

2. Understanding Templates and Profiles

Templates establish the prequalification requirements your organization uses to manage contractors.

Templates can be created for different purposes, including:

  • Prequalification: General contractor qualification requirements.

  • Category of Work: Requirements based on the type of work being performed.

  • Sites or Projects: Requirements specific to a location or project.

Profiles are created within templates and contain the specific requirements assigned to contractors.

A template can contain multiple profiles, and contractors can be assigned to more than one profile.

This flexibility allows your organization to apply different requirements based on the contractor's scope of work.

3. Viewing Your Templates

Each template is displayed as a card containing:

  • Template Name: The name assigned to the template.

  • Template Type: Identifies its purpose, such as Prequalification or Category of Work.

  • Description: Additional information about the template.

  • Profiles: Number of profiles associated with the template.

  • Contractors: Number of contractors assigned to the template.

Click a template name to access its details and associated profiles.

4. Search and Filter Templates

Use the search bar to quickly locate a template by name.

The All Types dropdown allows you to filter templates by their type.

This makes it easier to locate and manage specific prequalification requirements.
